- Arkivio's AUTO-STOR ILM software has been successfully integrated with Network Appliance's Data ONTAP software through its APIs.
- Troika Networks has raised $14.4 million in Series B funding. Anthem Venture Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, DynaFund Ventures, Hamilton Technology Ventures, and Windward Ventures all participated in the round.
- Xiotech and Spectra Logic have collaborated to create a tiered storage solution integrating Xiotech primary disk and Spectra Logic's T-series libraries: The Spectra T950, T120, and T50.
- Peak 10, a managed services provider, has deployed Internap's Flow Control Platform (FCP) to deliver enhanced routing capabilities for its entire network infrastructure. The FCP solution enables Peak 10 to intelligently route traffic across its private network, which links the company's tier one data centers spread throughout the southeastern US.
- XOsoft has added 70 new partners during the first half of 2005, the latest of which are The Harding Group, STL Smartways Technology, Cambridge Computer, AmeriVault, and ServePath.
- SmartSync Software has an OEM agreement with Netgear Inc., whereby SmartSync's SmartSync Pro will be bundled with Netgear's Storage Central, a network data storage solution.
- Alacritech, Microsoft, and Broadcom have entered into agreements that settle all outstanding disputes between Alacritech and Microsoft, as well as provide Microsoft and Broadcom access to Alacritech’s patent portfolio relating to scalable networking.
- LSI Logic has achieved McData OPENready partner status, as the LSI Logic family of 2Gbps Fibre Channel PCI-X host bus adapters (HBAs) have successfully completed testing and are now qualified for use with McData’s Sphereon Fabric Switches.
- Mich Fisher, a software engineer at Revivio, has been appointed a co-chair of the Storage Networking Industry Association's (SNIA) Data Management Forum - Data Protection Initiative (DPI). Together with Jason Iehl of Quantum, he is responsible for leading the DPI in its chartered mission to define, implement, qualify, and teach improved methodologies for the protection, retention, and management of electronic information and applications.
