  • Reldata’s 9200 IP Storage Gateway has received Compatibility Certification from LSI Logic.
  • LSI Logic has promoted Flavio Santoni to executive vice president, storage sales and marketing. Santoni joined LSI Logic in February 2001 as vice president of worldwide marketing for the company’s Engenio storage systems subsidiary (formerly LSI Logic Storage Systems). Previously, he worked at Sutmyn Storage and Memorex Telex. LSI Logic has also named Oliver Gneuss as distribution and channel sales manager for storage solutions in Central and Eastern Europe.
  • 3PAR has appointed Christopher B. Paisley to it board of directors. He has joined 3PAR as an independent external board member and will serve as chairperson of the audit committee.
  • Network Appliance has promoted Mark Stevens to area vice president for the UK and Ireland. He began his career at NetApp more than six years ago as a sales manager.
  • TDK recently announced that it has shipped a total of 10 million LTO Ultrium data cartridges worldwide in only five years.
