LEDs Outdoor Lighting Newsletter | October 12, 2010

Welcome to the Outdoor LED Lighting newsletter for October 2010.

This month, two major cities, San Francisco and London, have put out calls for their forthcoming LED lighting projects.

Meanwhile, the recent Street and Area Lighting conference continues to prove itself the major event on the outdoor lighting calendar in North America.

Another development this month was the release by the IES of a position statement on the Effects of Exterior Lighting on Human Health, which advocates the need for further research towards a more complete understanding of human responses to optical radiation.
