 Hella will supply LED light engines that will be incorporated into Hubbell’s roadway lighting fixtures.
LRC publishes ASSIST volumes on street-lighting evaluation and glare
 New publications in the ASSIST Recommends Series describe a methodology for evaluation of street light performance, and a calculation-based approach to estimating discomfort glare in outdoor lighting.
LED lighting installed in London road tunnel
 The Upper Thames Street tunnel in Central London has become the first UK road tunnel to be fitted with linear LED lighting, according to Transport for London.
LED Business Roundup: Illumitex, AMS and TAOS, Philips, Taiwan and China
 Illumitex has raised USD 13.52M in equity, austriamicrosystems has agreed to buy TAOS, Philips has reported weaker demand for lighting products, and Taiwan and China have agreed to develop unified standards for LEDs.
