 Seoul Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has announced that its LED patent dispute with Royal Philips Electronics has been settled with a cross-licensing agreement. Each party gains access to a substantial part of the other party's patent portfolios, according to Seoul.

 CSA International has opened a certification and product-testing laboratory capable of testing LEDs and lighting products to 75 standards including Energy Star requirements.
