iTrans™ single or dual gas monitors accommodate a variety of applications with their wide range of sensor configurations and relay options for maximum flexibility. These three or four-wire systems allow gas sensors to be mounted onboard or remotely up to 200-m away. They accommodate more than 200 transmitters in RS485 bus configuration. Single or dual designs monitor any combination of gases for a specific environment. iTrans™ utilizes its manufacturer’s industry-proven “smart” sensor technology. It incorporates such safety features as automatic sensor recognition, zero and cal fault protection, and access code security — all enclosed within an explosionproof aluminum or optional stainless steel housing. Complementary controllers and accessories provide flexible fixed-point gas monitoring installations including SIL2 and SIL3 systems.

V-Cone flow meters |
M-PULSe flow meters |
| |
V-Cone Flow Meters are designed for the oil sands separation process — its demanding grit, high temperature as well as high-pressure liquid, natural gas, or steam. This all-purpose flow meter design offers high accuracy and dependable flow measurement for oil sands production and refining in all media. It’s engineered to handle dirty flows, high temperatures, and high pressures at a ±0.5% of flow rate accuracy and ±0.1% repeatability. No-moving-parts design provides built-in flow conditioning which also nearly eliminates the upstream/downstream straight pipe runs required by almost all other flow meter technologies, notes V-Cone’s manufacturer. The space saving flow meters reduce typical flow meter straight pipe run requirements by up to 70% or more. They need only 0-3 straight pipe diameters upstream and 0-1 downstream for effective operation. V-Cone operates over a 10:1 flow range and supports 0.5 to 120-in. line sizes. It has been tested to conform to API 22.2 for differential pressure flow measurement devices.

Multi-path transit time M-PULSe measurement systems primarily serve custody transfer of liquid petroleum products. The onshore/offshore flow meters feature patented, intrinsically safe transducer design to eliminate the possibility of sparks. M-PULSe’s spool piece features ATEX Zone 0 Intrinsically Safe certification that allows the system’s use in hazardous environments. Models also seamlessly interface with existing Class I, Div. 1 installations. The instrument’s four-path transit time technology is said to deliver the highest attainable accuracy on practically all liquid petroleum products.
