SWRO membrane elements
Toray Membrane USA offers two new models of reverse osmosis membrane elements for seawater desalination. The TM820S-400 has low energy consumption (9,000gpd at 800 psi) with high boron rejection (90% at pH8). TM820V-400 also has the same low energy consumption but higher boron rejection (92% at pH8).

Energy recovery
Energy Recovery Inc. has introduced the PX-300 device, the highest-capacity energy recovery device offered by ERI. Designed to reduce energy usage and related costs, this new device handles flow rates of 300 gallons per minute (68 m³/hour) per device. The modular, standardized design allows the PX-300 to be used in the world's largest desalination plants.
